Why I built it

This started with my own lungs.

I live with severe asthma, constant sinus infections, and allergies. For years, deciding whether conditions were okay for me to go out felt like a gamble. Some days the air looked fine and left me struggling. Other days I stayed in for nothing.

I built SafeInhale so I'd know the right time to go out: the window when the air, pollen, and weather line up in my favor. That one thing changed my days. It's the difference between watching from the window and actually going out to play with my kids.

It also became my memory. SafeInhale lets me track how I feel day to day: my symptoms, my triggers, the rough days and the good ones. When I see my doctor, I don't have to rely on a foggy recollection of the last month. I bring a clear report of exactly how I felt, so we can make better decisions together.

Meet its sister app, SafeIntake.

SafeInhale is only half the story. It comes from the same place as SafeIntake, our food & product safety scanner. SafeInhale is what you let into your lungs. SafeIntake is what you put in your body.
